If you are driving 110 km/hr along a straight road and you look to the side for 2.0 second, how far do you travel during this initiative period? The answer is 61, but I am not getting it. Please help!

OpenStudy (turingtest):

I'm not sure what you mean by 'initiative period' and this question confuses me in general.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Im guessing it's talking about how far you traveled in that 2 second period. But I keep trying different formulas and I'm not getting the right answer.

OpenStudy (turingtest):

This answer has a 61 in it somewhere: convert the units of speed to km/second\[d=vt=(\frac{110\text{km}}{\text{hr}}\times\frac{\text{hr}}{60\text{min}}\times\frac{\text{min}}{60\text{sec}})\times(2\text{sec})\]
