In R, I have to install packages manually because my wretched prevents R from accessing the online repository. Instead, I download and uncompress the package binaries to a directory on my hard drive and load them one by one into R using library(Package.Name, lib.loc = "Directory.Path"). This is a not a crippling problem but it is a nuisance. Some packages have dependencies - they call functions from other packages to run. Does the order I manually load the packages and their dependencies into R matter?

I meant to say, "My wretched firewall."

Order of dependencies matters. You need to import the dependency before the library that requires it.

Thanks! I've been figuring that out over the past few days.
