my teacher is asking us to illustrate the levels of biological organizations from the atom to the biosphere(i did that part) but she wants us to apply a single-celled organism like bacteria, protist or yeast cell...im not understanding that part please help?!?!
Just place them between macromolecules and life forms with many cells.
i have to incorporate them into the concentric rings and thats the problem im having...i know if the teacher described the dierections a little less compicated i would understand but she did not-lol
plzzzzz someone help...im so bout to cry=(
Does she want you simply to classify the organisms by size?
i dont think so i think she wants us to incorporate bacterium, protist and yeast in the levels ...sum how
They are all single cellular organisms, but they're not all the same size. The bacterium is relatively small (probably 2 to 4 micrometers in diameter, if you put it under a microscope and measure it) but the yeast is substantially bigger by an order of magnitude (like 15 or 20 micrometers across) and the protist is bigger by an order of magnitude still (100 to 200 micrometers in diameter). Shouldn't classifying the organisms by size give you enough info to fit them into different size levels?
