Find the equilibrium points x, 0

OpenStudy (turingtest):

what math is this?

OpenStudy (turingtest):

I'm not sure what you mean by equilibrium point. I'm also not sure the first equation is correct. Is it supposed to be 6^2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pre-calc...working with equilibrium points- showing that a population will not change from one year to the next

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ahh woops, you are correct- that first equation should be \[f (x)=6x ^{2}(1-x)\]

OpenStudy (turingtest):

Are you taking the derivative to solve these types of thing?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

nope, not that fare yet

OpenStudy (turingtest):

because it sounds to me like a max/min thing

OpenStudy (turingtest):

I'm sorry, I'm not sure I know exactly what the problem wants, and what I think it may want, I don't know how to do without calculus.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thanks anyways
