Traingle ABC has vertices A(3,4) B(-5,2) and C (1,-4). Determine an equation for a) CD, the median from C to AB b) AE, the altitude from A to BC c) GH, the right bisector of AC

anyone kno how to do it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a) the median from C to AB is the segment from C to the midpoint of AB or the line through the points (1,-4) (-1, 3). Using y=-7/2*x-1/2

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b) the altitude is the line through A that is perpendicular to BC c) the line through the midpoint of AC that is perpendicular to AC itself. (can you now do this on your own?)
