Of the 600 students in Jordan Middle School, 120 students are in the sixth grade. What percentage of students are in sixth grade?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont get how to do it

OpenStudy (ash2326):

Students in 6th grade=120 Total no. of students =600 Percentage of students in 6th grade= \( \frac{120}{600} *100\) \[\frac{1}{5}*100=20%\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

XD just take the number of 6th graders, 120, divide it by the total number of students, 600, and multiply it by 100%, which turns out to be 20%.

OpenStudy (ash2326):
