How do u do Percents??? Please help

OpenStudy (turingtest):

A is x% of B\[A=\frac x{100}B\]So when they say 'what is x% of B?' just plug in the numbers. If they ask 'what percent of B is A?' solve the above for x, then plug in the numbers. If they ask 'A is x% of what number?' solve the above for B and plug in the numbers

For starters, see if this helps. http://www.khanacademy.org/video/taking-percentages?playlist=Algebra If you find it useful, search for other videos where he talks about percent for examples and problems he solves.
