2(x - 1) >= -12? => 2x-2 >- 12 => x-1 >= -6 => x >= -5 so x less than or greater to -5 should be the incorrect answer if you meant x less than or greater than -5 x< -5 || x > -5 in other words x!= 5 closed circle means including -5 and to the right normally means anything greater.. hope this helps!
