Find the limit. lim 11x / x x ->0

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the answer is not 0 or Does Not Exist

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its 11 \[\lim_{x \rightarrow 0} 11x/x\] = \[\lim_{x \rightarrow 0} 11\] = 11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it because the x's cancel out?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah, x at 0 is still undefined though, it's just when you approach to x=0, you are approaching to y=11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i got zero earlier because i plugged in zero for x and got zero as my final answer

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i posted a more complicated limits prob... can u help me with it?
