Well you know an hour is 60 minutes, so that takes care of the 1.

For 9/20, set up a proportion:

9/20 = x/60

cross multiply:

20x = 540
x = 540/20
x = 54/2
x = 27 minutes

So 1 hour and 27 minutes
or

60 + 27 = 87 minutes
