A doubt James. If the mass of the Earth would change, wouldnt the time period of the Earth's Rotation Change as: No external torque in space, I x (angular velocity) is constant. So if I changes, omega changes?

Yes, definitely. But as the loss is only ~0.000000000000001% of the total mass per year, the period change is likewise tiny.
