first stage is prophase-wer the chromosomes r visible(actually the chromatin material ) the nucleus and the nuclear membrane r clearly visible!

note-but the chromosomes r clearly visible and can b studied clearly in the metaphase stage-the second stage of meiosis,which is preceeded by the anaphase stage,and finally,the last stage of meiosis,is the telophase!

wich is similar to meiosis 2! but by the end of the divisions,thr r 2 daughter cells,formed in case of mitosis ,and four daughter nucli in case of meiosis!(i and 2)
