I have to write a summary of an interview, including demographic information. How do I begin? Would i use the questions as headings>
Hi kwilki04! Welcome to OpenStudy! :) If you need help using the site at all just ask. I'm not really the best person to answer your question, but since I'm here I'll try to help. I think you should start with important biographical information about the interviewee and then maybe the topic/s that were the focus of the interview or why the person was being interviewed. Then I don't know what to do :( I don't want to give bad advice. Hopefully someone else will chime in. Anyhow, just wanted to welcome a new user, good luck! Continue asking questions and feel free to try to answer other people's questions too. :)
Just write out what you talked about. A summary of an interview is pretty much what you talked about and received from the interviewer. Do not use the questions as headings. Instead talk about who that person was (which is demographical infomation), what you talked about (include major points. Do not copy paste questions.), and anything else that is on the record.
thanks for the advice, dgo, and Boblankin
