please help. :) Relate erythropoiesis to red blood cell count

Erythropoiesis is the process by which red blood cells (RBC) form. So the relationship between RBC formation and total RBC count is simple: if more blood cells are formed than are lost (through bleeding or old age), then the RBC count goes up; if fewer RCBs are formed than are lost, total RBC count goes down.
