Homeostasis is keeping things the same, so regulation of body temperature is an excellent example of homeostasis. If you get too hot then your blood goes to the skin and maybe start to sweat so you cool down a bit. Homeostasis also includes keeping the blood at a certain pH (acidity) and saltiness, along with other factors of the internal environment of an organism. Hope this is clear
