ok so i have 2 vector a and b and vector a=(2x+5y-2z) vector b=(-1x+2y-3z) and i have to find the angle between them

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and the x,y and z are x hat, y hat and z hat

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Use the dot product, which says: \[\ \hat{A}*\hat{B}=\|\hat{A}\| \|\hat{B}\|cos{\theta}\] where A_hat and B_hat are vectors, and ||A_hat|| and ||B_hat || are their lengths(absolute values) Solve this expression for theta and you will get your angle.

okay thank you very much
