The wheels came off after take-off, sometime the planes had trucks underneith rather than attached wheels.

There was also special plane made specifically for kamikaze missions called the Ohka (though Americans nicknamed it the Baka bomb, "baka" being Japanese for "idiot") which was dropped from a bomber and piloted into the target.

Methamphetamine was created in the 1800s by the Japanese. The drug gave the user a feeling of invincibility. The Japanese did not have a use for it, so it was never used, until World War 2 that is. They gave it to Kamikaze pilots so that they would not fear dying.
