put x = number of $75 tickets sold, then since the total is 540 then the number of $40 tickets has to be
\[540-x\] since the total is 540

then the amount of income is
\[75x+40(540-x)\] and you know this is $27,200 so set
\[75x+40(540-x)=27200\] and solve for x
