Concider a tangent line to the curve \[y=(3-(1/x))/(3+x)\] what is it's slope if we know that it's x-intercept is 4? Is the question really asking for me to take the derivative, then plug in x=4?

OpenStudy (phi):

I think they are asking for the x that satisfies f(x) = f ' (x) * x + 4 where f(x) = your equation

Thanks, I'll try and work through that and see if my answer makes a little more sense.
