HELP PLEASE:what is the length of the diameter of a circle whose center is at point (1,2) and that passes through point (4,-2)?

OpenStudy (phi):

do you know how to find the distance between 2 points? if so, find the distance between the given points. that is the length of the radius. Double it to get the length of the diameter

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh okay. thank you. so basically when it says that the center point pass through a specific point..that means it's the radius?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah i know it, ty

OpenStudy (phi):

It poorly written. It means the center of the circle is at (1,2). And the circle passes through another point (4,-2)|dw:1328145087403:dw|
