y=mx+b 4y+2x=12

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I get the 4y=2x + 12 and idk how to graph or put 2/4 in y=mx+b

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solve for y: 4y+2x=12. subtract 2x to both sides. 4y=-2x +12. divide by 4 on both sides y=-2/4 (or 1/2) +3. y=-1/2x+3

ok now how to I graph it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

b=3 (where the line will cross the y axis) and m= the slope (rise over run). so start your graph at (0,3) and go down 1 and over 2 (down because its a negitive 1/2)

Awesome now I get the whole thing. Become a fan of me if you wanna help more and if you want more medals because I will have trouble in future chapters

this is my first day on it so im not really sure what the whole medal thing is but im guessing its good, and if you ever need help dont hesitate
