0 yomo710 Determine whether the conjecture is true or false. If it is false, give a counterexample. Given: g is perpendicular to h Conjecture: The slopes of g and h are opposite in sign and reciprocals of one another.

Directrix (directrix):

g is perpendicular to h If g or h is not parallel to either the x-axis or the y-axis, then the conjecture is true. While a vertical line is perpendicular to a horizontal one, the slope of a vertical line does not exist and the slope of a horizontal is 0. Ergo, their slope product will not be -1.
