how do you factor x^4 + 64

if it were x^4-64: different story

rly? the question gives the hint that you must add and subtract \[16^2\] & the answer is \[(x^2-4x+8)(x^2+4x+8)\], but i'm not sure how you do the work to get that answer >.<;
