Which of the following ordered pairs is included in the solution set of the system, y < 2 - 2x and y > 2x -3? A. (0, 0) B. (3, 4) C. (4, 0) D. No Solution

OpenStudy (radar):

I would just substitute for x and y and observe results. A. 0<2-2(0) 0<2 true for first, now the other equation. 0>2(0)-3, 0>-3 , true so A. is included.

OpenStudy (radar):

I would check the remaining to see if it has more than one answer

Alrighty ((:

Directrix (directrix):

A.(0, 0) only http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=y+%3C+2+-+2x+and+y+%3E+2x+-3

OpenStudy (radar):

B. 4 < 2 - 2(3) 4<-4 not true so it ain't B.

OpenStudy (radar):

C. 0< 2 - 2(4) 0<-6 Not true, so C. is not a solution.
