To convert a fraction into decimal, just divide the numerator by denominator: 1/6 is 0.1666

depends on the decimal. if it is a terminating decimal, put it over the appropriate power of ten for example \[.3=\frac{3}{10}\] \[.123=\frac{123}{1000}\]
