Can anyone tell me a good place to learn some basic quantum chromodynamics?

OpenStudy (jamesj):

So you'd like to run a marathon now? How's the walking coming along?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Pretty good, i bought a couple of more books. Im almost finished with Elegant Universe, then ill read QED and then a brief explaination of time. As for algebra im getting some tenth grade exercises tomorrow in school. Oh and im getting the 10th grade physics book too.

So i think im up to a steady jog at least ;)

OpenStudy (jamesj):

Personally, I think Hawking's book is a waste of paper. But glad you've plowed through "The Elegant Universe" and the Feynman will also be good.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Really? Why is it a waste of paper?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh right, i just ordered 6 simple things too, or whatever its called

OpenStudy (jamesj):

It's hopelessly vague. You'll see.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Alright, i bought it mainly because it had some explainations on quarks and black holes.
