\[\sqrt{27}\]

OpenStudy (ash2326):

kyrie do you know how to find square root?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Nope...Explain? (:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\(5.2 \)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks fool but I still need explaining to (:

OpenStudy (ash2326):

first of all let's find factors of 27 27=3*3*3 so we have 27=3^2*3

OpenStudy (ash2326):

did you get this kyrie?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

This should help: http://www.wikihow.com/Calculate-a-Square-Root-by-Hand

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and tenth means 1 digit right of the decimal point.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohh yeah! i was about to ask where you got that but since it was 27 yeah...i got that ok next step :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Actually, \( \sqrt{27}=5.1961524227066318805823390245176171008284157614311\cdots \)

OpenStudy (ash2326):

so if we have \[\sqrt {27}\] now writing 27 as 3^2*3 so \[\sqrt{3^2*3}\] now we have square root , so 3^2 can come out as 3 so we get \[3*\sqrt 3\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ohhhhh.

OpenStudy (ash2326):

did you get it
