Find the length of a rectangle if its perimeter
is 160 feet and its length is 3 times its width

(x+3x)×2=160
2x+6x=160
8x=160
x=30 ft width
3x = 90 ft length

and length = 90 ft.
if you want to give him much info.. then you might say : width = 30 ft
