Relationship between temperature and volume

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are a few laws that establish this relationship. The most commonly cited is the Ideal Gas Law, which says\[PV = n RT\]Therefore, at constant pressure, there is a direct relationship between volume and temperature.

Note that in this relationship, we need to measure temperature on what is called an absolute scale. The usual choice is Kelvin. 273 Kelvin = 273 K = 0 C = 32 F.
