I just want to make sure I got the right answer here, is this correct? A water storage tank has the shape of a cylinder with diameter 10 ft. It is mounted so that the circular cross-sections are vertical. If the depth of the water is 8 ft, what percentage of the total capacity is being used?

lets consider we have circle are of circle = pi r^2 = 78.5 total area of shaping water on the base = 78.52+(10×3)=69.25 69.2578.5=88.5 we assumed rectangle three unit height ..so the percentage goes high Hope your answered right :D good luck
