Write an equation that has been shifted left 3 and up 5 units

OpenStudy (sh3lsh):

y= |x+3|+5

OpenStudy (sh3lsh):

x+3 moves it to the left because anything inside a parenthesis (or abs value in this case) moves it to the opposite of what you think. So +3 you think right. But in graphs its actually -3. Anything outside does what it looks like. +5 makes the function go up 5
