can somebody describe the city as beatiful clean etc. in adjectives etc. and before the war and after the war describe it as destroyed ruined with a lot of adjectives etc.

After: Crumbled debris lay covered in dust on the desolate streets, pieces of twisted, melting steel barely glinting in the light. The facades of once beautiful, rich hotels, banks, and restaurants now hid their faces in the settling smoke.
