how do I calculate the maximum amount of solute that can dissolve in a given amount of water at 20 and 30 degrees celsius? The water amounts are 42.8 and 74.9 respectively. Ultimately I am supposed to determine how much more solute could be added if i used 79.0 g H20 and a temp of 30 degrees celsius.

OpenStudy (jfraser):

there has be be more info than what you've given. You need something like the maximum solubility of the salt at a given temperature
