In math,
MOD = Modulus.

In other words, it's "Absolute Value".

On Openstudy MOD is generally referred to Moderators.

the problem was something like
17mod5+16mod10 or something like that

because 17/5 has a remainder of 2
16mod10=6
because 16/10 has a remainder of 6
so
17mod5+16mod10=8

also mod is used for unversal +ive ........gor eg. mod symbolos lxl.....
