Find perimeter and type in factorized form: this shape (I'll draw it)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it calls for two answers...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

top: 5x^2+1 left: 19x+4 bottom: x^2+12x

Directrix (directrix):

Is the triangle given to be a right triangle?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i dont think so

Directrix (directrix):

P = 5x^2+1 + 19x+4 + x^2+12x P = 6 x ^ 2 + 31 x + 5 P = ( x + 5) ( 6x + 1)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do i get perimeter if there are two answers? (the parenthesis)

Directrix (directrix):

Unless we are given a number that is the perimeter, then we leave the perimeter at P = 6 x ^ 2 + 31 x + 5. We can factor that which we did. The perimeter is 6 x ^ 2 + 31 x + 5.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so you just solve the next part to get factorized form??

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I gotta go, ill give you a medal for your trouble, ill try and figure this out later.

Directrix (directrix):

( x + 5) ( 6x + 1)
