Find the vertical asymrtotes, if any, for the following; f(x)=-3x^2/x^2+9x-22 The answer I have is x=2 & x=-11 How do you come up with 2????

OpenStudy (mertsj):

The factors of x^2+9x-22 are (x+11)(x-2) If either of these factors is 0, the denominator will be 0 and there will be a vertical asymptote.

so then I have it right with x=-11 & x=2

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Yes.
