Suppose a population of 50 individuals has genotypes in the following numbers: GG = 12, Gg = 28, gg = 10 What is the genotype frequency for Gg? What am I doing wrong I get 28/50=.56 because the question says nothing about the population being in Hardy Weinberg eq. but my answer was marked as incorrect. Would there be any reason to solve this using the Hardy-Weinberg equation?
