What is the chemical and structural formla of ethyne? How do you get the structural formula?

"eth-" means a 2-carbon chain "-yne" means there will be one triple bond between the carbons Since carbon must always have a total of 4 bonds, there must be one more bond on each carbon, being hydrogen. So the formula for ethyne must be C2H2. Its structural formula must be |dw:1328537702629:dw|
