can someone explain this to me? In what position would you find the leading runner in a race? In what position do you suppose you would find the leading coefficient in a polynomial?

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

that's one very weird question I must say...what does ''in what position mean?''

OpenStudy (wasiqss):

lol crazy ques

OpenStudy (anonymous):

"In what position would you find the leading runner of a race?" Knowing that positions in a race are {1st, 2nd, 3rd ...} I would say the LEADING runner in the race would be in the 1st position.
