How do you reply to a fan testimonial? (never got one before)

You can click on the person's avatar or username and you'll get a tooltip popup. You have to become a fan to add a fan testimonial.

That said, it isn't really meant to be a messaging feature. We're working on ways to actually bring that to the site so fan testimonials can be restored to their original purpose :)

Yes, as shoadowfiend ays. it isn't supposed to be a messaging feature. You can't exactly 'reply' to a fan testimonial.
