Which of the following points lie in the solution set to the following system of inequalities? y > -3x + 3 y > x + 2 A. (2, -5) B. (-2, 5) C. (2, 5) D. (-2, -5) I believe the answer is D, is that correct?

OpenStudy (nenadmatematika):

no, when you put y=-5 and x=-2 into the first inequality you get -5>9 which in not true

so the answer is C
