a box measures 4 inches by 2 inches by 3 inches .Find the volume of the box in cubic feet .Enter your answer as a fraction .Use the fraction bar .Do not include units in ur answer .

OpenStudy (agreene):

\[V=l\times w\times h\] Volume = length times width times height. V= 4*2*3 or V= 4! ;) V=24

OpenStudy (amistre64):

how many in^3 in ft^3 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

9

OpenStudy (agreene):

lol didnt read the whole question, probably should have done that... converting 24 in^3 to ft^3 would be the last step there :P

OpenStudy (amistre64):

12x12x12 is a cubic foot in terns of inches; so 9 doesnt seem quite accurate

OpenStudy (amistre64):

4/12 * 2/12 * 3/12 should be the footage :)
