What is the 135th digit to the right of the deciaml point in the repeating decimal 0.428571? ??????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

135 / 6 = 27 remainder 3 third digit after dec point is 8 8

OpenStudy (anonymous):

When I divide 135 by 6 i get 22 remainder three.....does that mean the same?? Since I still get three I just simply count to the third digit?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

right - 22 is right not 27 as i got - but that doesnt matter anyway - its the remainder thats important

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yep - there are 22 'lots' of '428571' making a total of 132 digits followed by 428. 8 is the 135 th digit
