Technically the skin is an organ of the body (the largest organ in fact) and is medically referred to as the integumentary system. I don't know if that's quite what you were looking for but it's true.

I believe the kidneys were sometimes left in, but not always. Everything else was considered sacred . . . I think. At least sacred enough to wrap in linen and treat the same way as the rest of the body.

Except the brain, it was picked out through the nose with a long hook instrument because the Egyptians believed it was worthless, and that the heart was the source of thought and home to the soul.
