Solve 2x^2-5x+14=0 and state the number and types of roots. I dont understand how to either factor it or or to unsquare the 2x

actually you dont factor it...the question is to determine the roots so you use quadratic formula to find the discriminant discriminant = b^2 - 4ac 25 - 4(2)(14) 25 - 112 =-87 x is imaginary...2 imaginary roots
