Is a biologist a type of scientist?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Like hydrologist, archaeologist, etc...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yes!

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

Of course! Though most biologists are in a sub-group, like marine biology, or microbiology.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

or Neurobiology!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thanks

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

brain life?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

haha not exactly, I study biological processes that occur in the brain

OpenStudy (cathyangs):

wouldn't that be neuroscience...?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it could also be called neuroscience, but neuroscience can be behavioral and neurobiology refers to specifically biology related processes that occur, which could be...for example the biological processes that underlie behavioral conditions

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Of course, thought there are different sub-groups of biology.
