What is the difference between vehicle borne and vector borne transmission?

Vehicle-borne transmission is the indirect transmission of an infectious agent that occurs when a vehicle (or fomite) touches a person's body or is ingested Indirect transmission occurs when a vector bites or touches a person .vectors are the transmitters of disease-causing organisms that carry the pathogens from one host to another. By common usage, vectors are considered to be invertebrate animals, usually arthropods.
