How would I graph f(x)=-2x+4

OpenStudy (mertsj):

What is the y intercept of your line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

to find out y intercept, you must put X = 0 hence f(0) = 4, hence the y intercept is 4

OpenStudy (anonymous):

It is a straight line of form y = mx + c where m is the tangent of the angle the line makes with the X axis. Hence the angle is tan-1 (-2). A easier way to draw the line is - we found one point on the line be (0,4) [the y interception point] To get x intercept you have to put Y = 0, x = 2, hence the X interception point is (2,0) Find out these to points and and connect them with a straight line
