You graph a system of equations and get two lines that are parallel. Explain what this tells you about the: solution to the system the two equations the result if the system was solved algebraically

OpenStudy (anonymous):

they are straight lines in a cartesian coordinate plane. They both have the same slope following y =mx+b form.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

solution: none, because they do not intersect two equations: they have the same slope, that's why they are parallel the result if the system was solved algebraically: false statement (3=0, etc), becuase there isn't a solution, so it can't be solved
