its a theoretical description of the beginning of life on earth. its describes an aquatic environment rich in all sort of eletrolytes, in oncjunction with an atmospheric composition vastly different than current atmoshpere in which early life may have evolved, from inorganic molecules - to the first amino acids and RNA , that may have happened spontaneously (some say with the aid of a lightning bolt) - and in which life as we know it may have begun - with self replicating molecules.
